  Community Events New Orleans HARPS Education Day

  Providing continuing education programs for complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) practitioners and Western trained healthcare practitioners in the model of Integrated Health Care (I/C).
  
  
• Sharing proven community education programs on the responsible use of complementary or alternative therapies and the potential for integrated health care.
  
  
• Networking practitioners, organizations and resources providing integrative care services.
  
  
• Supporting research efforts to qualitatively and quantitatively explore the efficacy of CAM therapies and integrated health care.
  
  
• Encouraging outreach to individuals in local communities who might not otherwise be able to afford integrated care.
